What To Measure For A Topper
A topper covers the top of the head and is measured by width and length. These two dimensions define the base size and help match it to your natural hairline.
Width is taken from the right edge to the left edge, going up across the top of your head. Length is measured from the center of your front hairline straight back to the center of the base's back edge.
What To Measure For A Full Cap
A full cap covers the entire scalp and requires more measurements to ensure it fits securely and comfortably. Use a soft tape measure and keep it flat against your head.
The five key measurements are: circumference, front to nape, ear to ear across forehead, ear to ear over top, temple to temple round back, and nape width.
- Circumference: Start at the center of the front hairline, go around the head just above the ears and nape, returning to the front center
