A Workshop That Ties Knots For A Living
HairNotion was registered in China in 2011 and holds its own import and export licence. We make knotted hair products - hair replacement systems, wigs and hair extensions - on separate production lines, and sell them to wearers, salons, clinics, retailers and wholesalers.
What The Company Actually Is
HairNotion is a manufacturer of knotted hair products. The company was registered in China in 2011 and holds the legal right to export and import directly, which is why you are buying from the workshop rather than through a trading house.
Production is split by product family. Hair replacement systems, wigs and hair extensions each have their own workshops and their own lines, staffed by an in-house technician group and four teams of craft workers. Splitting the lines is what makes a stock unit dispatchable within 24 hours while a custom base is still being built to somebody's template two rooms away.
Over the years we have built up working relationships with salons, distributors and wholesalers in Europe, America, Australia and Brazil, alongside a large number of individual wearers who order direct. Those two groups want different things - one wants a repeatable range at trade pricing, the other wants somebody to answer a question about their own hairline - and the site is organised around both.
Registered In China
With our own import and export licence, so orders ship direct from the maker.
Separate Production Lines
Hair replacement systems, wigs and hair extensions each have their own workshops.
Teams Of Craft Workers
Plus an in-house technician group covering base construction and ventilation.
Stock Dispatch
On working days, with free worldwide shipping by DHL, FedEx and similar.
What Happens On Each Line
The three product families need different hands and different equipment, which is why they are not run together.
Hair Replacement Systems
Base cutting, welding and poly work, then hand ventilation, V-loop fronts and knot bleaching for men's toupees and hairpieces.
Wigs And Toppers
Full cap, lace top, silk top and mono top construction for women's wigs, toppers, medical wigs and Jewish wigs.
Hair Extensions
Clip in, tape in and flip in assembly, plus bundles and lace frontals, sorted and matched by colour code.
What Comes Off Those Lines

Poly thin skin bases from 0.02mm to 0.12mm, with V-loop or bleached knot fronts for an invisible hairline.

Fine welded mono bases, often with an NPU perimeter, built for wearers who handle the unit daily.

Silk top and mono top toppers in human hair, including Mongolian virgin hair on part of the range.
What Gets Checked Before A Unit Is Packed
These are the four things that generate complaints if they are wrong, so they are the four things that get looked at.
Base And Size
Base construction and dimensions measured against the order or the template.
Density And Ventilation
Density checked across front, mid and crown so the unit does not read heavy at the parting.
Hairline
Knots inspected under light after bleaching, and V-loop fronts checked for stray knots.
Colour
Colour matched to the ordered code in daylight, including the grey blend percentage.
