Weighbridge And Heavy Capacity Systems
A heavy capacity system is four decisions, not one product: the deck, the cells, the head and the verification. Getting them from one supplier keeps the accuracy class, the excitation range and the spares list consistent across the whole installation.
Where Projects Go Wrong And What We Do About It
Each stage below is a real failure point we see in enquiries, and the answer we give.
Site survey
The problem. Deck length is chosen from a brochure rather than from the vehicles that actually use the site.
How we solve it. We size from the longest vehicle and the approach lane, then pick from deck widths of 3 m, 3.2 m and 3.4 m and lengths from 6 m to 24 m.
Capacity and cells
The problem. Cells sized for the average load fail on the outliers.
How we solve it. Capacity is set against the heaviest expected gross weight with margin, using OIML R60 approved column or double shear beam cells rated to 50 t each.
Indicator and ticketing
The problem. Weights are recorded by hand and later disputed.
How we solve it. A printable indicator issues a ticket per movement, in a stainless steel or plastic housing to suit the cabin.
Installation support
The problem. Civil contractors need load and dimension data that never arrives.
How we solve it. Deck dimensions, cell loads and mounting details are supplied with the order so local civil work can proceed in parallel.
Verification
The problem. There is no way to check the bridge between official visits.
How we solve it. Cast iron M1 and M2 block weights from the same catalogue let the operator run periodic linearity checks.
Service life
The problem. A failed cell years later turns into a hunt for a matching part.
How we solve it. Cells are catalogue families with published specifications, so a replacement matches the original set.

Can you supply the whole system rather than just the deck?
Yes. Deck, load cells, mounting hardware, indicator and test weights are all catalogue items and ship together.
What is the heaviest capacity available?
Capacity is customised to the site and can be specified up to 300 t for special use.
Which load cells go under a weighbridge?
OIML R60 approved column cells or double shear beam cells, depending on deck design and capacity. Both families are in this catalogue with full specification tables.
Do you carry out the installation?
Civil works and installation are done locally. We supply the equipment plus the load and dimension data your contractor needs.
