Where Projects Go Wrong And What We Do About It
Each stage below is a real failure point we see in enquiries, and the answer we give.
Requirement
The problem. Buyers arrive with a retail price target and no bill of materials, so quotations go back and forth for weeks.
How we solve it. We start from the target and work backwards: model, capacity, sensor count, glass thickness, print area and carton, then quote once against a written specification.
Specification
The problem. Customisation requests are often agreed verbally and then produced differently.
How we solve it. Everything that varies from the catalogue build is written down before production: capacity, division, platform size, housing material, printing, packaging and documentation.
Artwork and sampling
The problem. Artwork that looks right on screen does not fit the print area on the product.
How we solve it. Print area is confirmed against the actual model before artwork is finalised, and a sample is agreed before the production run.
Certification
The problem. Programmes stall at customs because the documentation does not match the destination market.
How we solve it. CE, RoHS, OIML or NTEP documentation is confirmed against the exact model and destination before production, not after shipment.
Production and packing
The problem. Container fill is discovered at the freight forwarder rather than at the quotation.
How we solve it. Carton size, net and gross weight and 20 ft, 40 ft and 40 ft HQ loading quantities are published per model so freight is costed up front.
Repeat supply
The problem. Second orders come back slightly different and the retail buyer rejects them.
How we solve it. The agreed specification sheet becomes the reference for repeat orders so the second container matches the first.

What is the minimum quantity for an OEM programme?
It depends on whether the change is print only or affects the build. Send the model and target quantity on WhatsApp and we will confirm.
How do we lock the specification for repeat orders?
The written specification agreed for the first order is quoted again for repeats, which is what keeps a second container consistent with the first.
