Packing follows the end use

How screws are packed is decided by who opens the carton. A site contractor wants bulk weight; a merchant wants shelf-ready boxes; a roofing installer buys by piece count because the sheet schedule is in pieces. Deciding this at order stage costs nothing; changing it afterwards means re-packing.

The standard formats

Bulk 25 kg per carton or bag. One kilogram per box or bag with 25 boxes to a carton and then onto a pallet. Count packs of 1000, 500 or 250 pieces per small box, cartoned. And 15 kg per carton with 48 cartons per solid wood pallet, which is the usual configuration for container loading.

Customer specified packing

Packing to a customer's own specification, including private-label cartons and boxes, is a normal order option rather than a special arrangement.

Minimum order and mixing

The minimum is 500 kg per item. That floor is per size and finish, not per shipment, so mixed containers across several items and several families are normal and are how most repeat customers order.

Trade terms

FOB, CIF, CFR, CNF, EXW, DDU and DDP are all available. Loading port is Shanghai or Ningbo depending on the sailing. Choose the term by where you want to take control of the shipment, not by which looks cheapest on the quotation.

Payment methods

T/T, L/C, D/A, D/P, Western Union and MoneyGram. Samples are supplied free of charge; ask for them against the final specification rather than an interim one.
