A 700 square metre sea bass theme exhibition centre inside our industrial park in Baijiao, Zhuhai, built around the species that made this region the seabass capital of China.
Why a Museum Inside a Fish Factory
Baijiao in Doumen District, Zhuhai, supplies over 80% of China's sea bass production from more than 50,000 acres of farming area, with an annual output of nearly 160,000 MT. That did not happen by accident, and the 700 square metre exhibition centre inside our park exists to document how it happened.
What the Exhibition Covers
The biology of Lateolabrax japonicus and why brackish water at an average 22 C suits it. The history of seabass farming in Baijiao and the local breeding work behind it. The path from pond to live haul to processing line to export container, which is the same path every product on this site follows.
Visiting
The exhibition centre is part of our factory visit programme. Buyers travelling to Guangdong are welcome to see the ponds, the processing halls, the laboratory and the exhibition centre in one visit. Contact us with your dates and we will arrange it.
