Magnetic Core Materials
Silicon steel amorphous and nanocrystalline tape wound cores in toroidal C core and cut core shapes.

Who This Range Is For
Tape wound cores in silicon steel, amorphous and nanocrystalline alloy, in toroidal, C core and cut core shapes. These are the core materials behind current sensors, common mode chokes, filter inductors and medium frequency transformers where ferrite loss or saturation becomes the limit.
Typical buyers are power supply and magnetics designers fixing a footprint, and sourcing engineers at contract manufacturers who need one supplier to cover a whole series rather than a single size.
Problems It Solves
- Geometry that is only revealed after samples arrive, which blocks the PCB layout.
- A plastic body that will not survive the soldering profile in use.
- Buying the former, the core and the winding from three suppliers and reconciling three tolerances.
- A size change late in a project turning into a new supplier qualification.
Core Advantages
Three alloy families
Silicon steel amorphous and nanocrystalline tape wound cores from one source.
Shapes beyond the toroid
C cores cut cores and current sensor cores as well as toroidal cores.
Matched to our own cases
Cores can be supplied already fitted to the bases and cases in the toroid mount range.
Material guidance
Where ferrite saturates or loses too much at frequency the amorphous and nanocrystalline options are the usual replacement.

Questions About Core Materials
How many parts are published in this range
11 part numbers are listed with their material pin geometry and rating. Parts outside the published list are made from customer drawings.
Do you sell from stock or make to order
Both. Catalogue geometries run from existing tools. New geometries are a tooling job, and tool design and injection moulding are handled in the same plant.
Can you supply the core as well as the plastic part
Yes. Silicon steel amorphous and nanocrystalline cores are part of the same catalogue, and complete wound transformers and inductors can be quoted as a finished component.
What certifications do you hold
ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. All products are RoHS compliant.
How do I ask for a quotation
Send the part numbers and the annual quantity by WhatsApp or email. If you only have a drawing send that instead.
Get A Price Against Your Part List
Send a part list or a drawing. Catalogue geometries are quoted from existing tooling and anything else is quoted as a tooling job.
