What This Service Covers
Core materials are a separate service line: alloy powder core, silicon steel core, amorphous core and nanocrystalline core. Amorphous and nanocrystalline alloys have high saturation magnetic induction, high permeability, low coercivity and low loss compared with ferrite and iron powder cores, along with good frequency characteristics and temperature stability, which is why they replace ferrite where ferrite runs out.

Choose the alloy family
Silicon steel amorphous or nanocrystalline, based on that duty.
Choose the shape
Toroidal C core cut core or current sensor core.

Cores can be supplied fitted into bases and cases from our own toroid mount range.
Wind it or ship it
Bare cores, or a finished wound component built and tested here.

Who owns the tooling
Tooling terms are agreed in the quotation. Ask for the tooling clause with your quote.
What lead times apply
Lead time is quoted per project because it depends on the tool and the material. It is confirmed with the price rather than published.
Do you handle small volumes
Send the annual quantity with the enquiry and it will be answered honestly rather than after three rounds.
Is the work certified
The plant runs ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 systems and all products are RoHS compliant.
