Carbide Forging Dies
Sinter-HIP densified dies for engine valve heading and hot forming
Product DetailOur production route runs from WC powder through ball milling spray drying mixed powder pressing Sinter-HIP and machining to the finished product.
Tungsten carbide powder is the starting material and the plant sits in Hunan Province where mineral resource is abundant.
Powder and binder are milled together so the mixture is uniform before drying.
The milled slurry is spray dried into a free flowing granulate that presses evenly.
The prepared powder is checked and released for pressing.
Blanks are pressed to the shape required by the finished part with machining stock left where needed.
Sintering and hot isostatic pressing in one cycle densify the blank and reduce residual porosity that would start cracks.
Grinding EDM and lapping produce bores keyways hole patterns cutting edges and sealing faces.
Parts are inspected packed and prepared for export shipment.
