Ground and unground tungsten carbide strips for wood planing knives cutting edges and wear protection. Standard length is 330 mm and the maximum length we can produce is 1800 mm.

Can you produce carbide strips to our drawing?
Yes. Custom made carbide parts to drawing are a normal part of our production. Send the drawing or a measured sample and we will confirm what is manufacturable in carbide.
What material are these parts made from?
Cemented tungsten carbide which is tungsten carbide grain in a cobalt binder. The grade direction is chosen with our engineers against your load case rather than sold as one universal grade.
How are the parts densified?
Blanks are densified by Sinter-HIP which applies isostatic gas pressure during the sintering cycle so residual porosity is reduced before machining.
