Zinc round shot has a bright appearance. The density of zinc shot is higher than aluminium and the hardness is softer than steel, so it deburrs products without wearing down the surface.
It is widely used for deburring and surface treatment of zinc and aluminium cast parts.

Use Guide
- Check the substrate first. Ferrous media on non-ferrous parts leaves iron that rusts. This is a non-ferrous safe range.
- Match the grain size to the feature. Smaller grains give more impacts per kilogram and a finer finish. Larger grains carry more energy per impact.
- Match the shape to the job. As-cut cuts harder and reaches corners. Conditioned is used for peening and for a matte finish.
- Run a trial batch. Minimum order is 500 kg, which is low enough to prove the media on your own parts before volume.
- Store dry. Keep bags on the pallet and off the floor until the media goes into the machine.
