Product Overview
Cast stainless steel shot is produced by an atomizing process. The appearance is bright, with no rust and a round grain.
It is widely used for shot blasting of aluminium alloy casting, zinc alloy casting and other non-ferrous metal casting. It makes the casting shiny and highlights the metal colour, with no rusting and no discolouration. Durability is long and wear on the equipment is low. The surface is bright after processing with this product, so no further acid treatment is required.

Use Guide
- Check the substrate first. Ferrous media on non-ferrous parts leaves iron that rusts. This is a non-ferrous safe range.
- Match the grain size to the feature. Smaller grains give more impacts per kilogram and a finer finish. Larger grains carry more energy per impact.
- Match the shape to the job. As-cut cuts harder and reaches corners. Conditioned is used for peening and for a matte finish.
- Run a trial batch. Minimum order is 500 kg, which is low enough to prove the media on your own parts before volume.
- Store dry. Keep bags on the pallet and off the floor until the media goes into the machine.
