Chain Guide Roller 316L Stainless Steel Anchor Chain Stopper for Ship
316L stainless chain stopper and guide roller that takes the anchor chain load off the windlass while the vessel rides at anchor.
What this product does
Between the windlass and the hawsepipe there is one component that decides whether your windlass brake spends the night carrying the full weight of ground tackle: the chain stopper. This SMT-CR guide roller clamps the chain so the pull from anchor and cable is transferred into the deck structure instead of the gypsy. It is machined from stainless steel 316L, polished, and finished with anti-rust paint, and it is rated to withstand 80% of the chain cable's breaking load.
