C63000 Copper Nickel Aluminum Bronze Bar Lead Brass Flat Bar Copper Rod Plate

C63000 nickel aluminium bronze bar, rod, flat bar and plate, the stock material for machining marine bearings and bushings.

Stern Shaft and Rudder Bearings

What this product does

C63000 is specified where a bearing has to run in seawater and carry load at the same time: nickel aluminium bronze holds its strength, resists cavitation and does not seize against a steel shaft the way softer alloys do. We supply it as bar, rod, flat bar and plate so a repair yard can machine a bushing to the shaft it has in front of it rather than waiting for a finished part.

Selection notes

  • C63000 nickel aluminium bronze in bar, rod, flat bar and plate form
  • Outer diameter, inner diameter and length cut to your requirement
  • Lead brass and copper rod supplied from the same stock programme

Marine Aluminum Bronze Bar In addition, Bronze Cutless Aluminum Bronze Bar Carefully hand polishing by our workers to make it perfect. What's more, We can customize the bearings, design according to the type&Weight of you to help your vessel work perfectly!!!! Aluminum Bronze Bar Outer/Inner Diameter&Lenth customized The tail shaft is generally composing of flanges, shafts, journals, conical shafts, and studs. The copper sleeve of the tail shaft is installing on the tail shaft tube of the journal. For ships with water lubrication, the stern shaft journal is generally equipping with bearings to prevent journal friction and corrosion, and the bearings are generally assembled on the shaft with interference fit. The working conditions of the stern shaft are relatively harsh, not only susceptible to corrosion by seawater, but also twisted and subjected to bending alternating stress, resulting in various faults. The supporting and sealing journals of the stern shaft may experience scratches, excessive wear, and rust due to improper clearance, misalignment of the axis, and poor lubrication. The red sleeve and seam of the copper sleeve may become loose and crack due to insufficient or excessive interference. The transition and keyhole areas of the conical shaft section may experience cracks due to fatigue, vibration, and impact. The journal and shaft stem may also rust due to poor seal
