Export Packing And Delivery
Grating is heavy, sharp and easy to damage, and most of this plant’s output travels by sea.
The export company was established in 2023 to serve foreign markets, and packing is where that shows. A panel that was perfect when it was inspected can arrive bent at the corner, rubbed through the coating where banding cut in, or unidentifiable because nothing was marked. None of those are manufacturing faults, and all of them are avoidable.
Export Packing And Delivery In 6 Steps
Inspection Before Packing
Nothing is fixed once it is in a container.
Size, squareness, bar pitch and coating finish are checked against the drawing before anything is banded.
Marking
Unmarked panels get sorted twice: once by you, once again by the installer.
Where a layout drawing is supplied, panels are marked to their position so they go straight to the right opening on site.
Stacking
Grating damages grating when it is stacked carelessly.
Panels are stacked flat and square with bearing bars aligned, which is what stops edges biting into the panel below.
Banding And Protection
Banding under tension cuts through a fresh zinc coat.
Stacks are banded with protection at the contact points so the coating is not the thing holding the bundle together.
Loading
Weight distribution in a container is a safety issue, not a preference.
Heavy stacks are loaded and secured for sea freight, which is the route most of this output takes.
Documentation
The paperwork decides whether the steel clears or sits.
Shipping documents are prepared per order and destination. Which compliance documents a shipment needs depends on the country, so they are confirmed per order rather than published here.
