Product Overview
A ball joint handrail system solves a problem that only shows up on a real platform: the run changes direction and level, and every fabricated corner is a site weld that has to be ground and repainted. Here the rail passes through a drilled ball welded to the post, so the rail can follow the run and the geometry is absorbed at the joint. The posts are 48 x 3.25 mm tube, the balls 76 x 3 mm, the rail 42.3 x 3.25 mm, and the base plates 6 mm thick, drilled to your steelwork. The whole system is hot-dip galvanized, the same finish as the grating it goes around.
