Fabric Weight Sets The Folding Window
Machines are built for a gsm range because fold quality, tension and cutting all change with fabric weight. Our bath towel folding machine converts 20 to 80 gsm, while the mulch line covers 17 to 80 gsm for agricultural fabric. Material outside the window does not simply run worse, it often will not hold a fold at all.

Roll Diameter Sets Shift Rhythm
Maximum raw material roll diameter, commonly 1000 mm on our lines, decides how often the machine stops for a roll change. Buying a machine with less diameter capacity than your normal purchased roll means paying for that decision every shift.
Core Size Is A Mechanical Constraint
Core inner diameter, typically 76 mm on our folding and rewinding lines, has to match the shafts. It is the easiest item to check and the most common cause of a machine standing idle on arrival.
Effective Width Versus Machine Width
Effective width is the usable web width, machine width is the frame. The AQ-GF(1800) spa sheet line runs 1800 mm effective within a machine width of about 1850 mm. Planning floor space from effective width alone leaves you short.
