Where should the detector be installed
Immediately after the equipment that sheds metal: the tablet press, capsule filling machine or sieve.
What sensitivity can we expect
Fe 0.3 to 0.5 mm and SUS304 0.6 to 0.8 mm measured on a test sample in the channel. Your product will differ and we will say so.
What are the product-contact materials
SUS316 contact parts with a food-grade plexiglass channel and SUS304 main construction.
What aperture sizes are available
72 x 17 mm, 87 x 15 mm and 137 x 25 mm as standard, with other sizes made to order.
Can we verify fill weight at the same point
Not on the gravity detector, but the VKD-II combines conveyor metal detection with check weighing on one frame.
