Which pinpointer goes deepest underwater
The HS-11 and HS-12 are IP68 to 30 m. The HS-08 is rated to 8 m and the GC-2005 is not waterproof at all.
How small a target can a pinpointer resolve
The HS-11 states a 2 mm small needle. Coin sensitivity ranges from 3.5 cm to 9 cm across the range.
Do I still need a main detector
Yes. A pinpointer is used alongside one, to locate the target once the general area has been found.
Which one shows how close I am
The GC-2005, which lights a first, second and third LED as the probe approaches.
Do they include batteries
Most take a 9 V cell which is not supplied. The GP-Pinpoint includes a rechargeable battery.
Can one work with my existing detector
