About Averguard
Averguard is the security screening brand of Dongguan Viboo, based in Dongguan, China. We have spent over 8 years selling and servicing screening equipment across Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and the Americas.
What we actually do
We supply security screening and industrial inspection equipment, and we service it afterwards. That second half matters more than it sounds: a scanner with no spare parts and no engineer is a very expensive piece of furniture.
Our range covers new and refurbished X-ray machines and walk-through metal detectors, explosive trace detection, accessories, training and testing aids, and support equipment. We also rent and lease, which suits events, temporary checkpoints and projects that cannot justify a purchase.
How we quote
Most enquiries arrive as a product category. That is not enough to quote against, so we ask for the dimensions, the throughput, the environment and what the equipment has to ignore. Then we name a model, quote its published figures, and say plainly when a cheaper model does the same job.
Where a figure is not published by the factory, we say so rather than estimating it. You will find TBC on some specification tables on this site for exactly that reason.

Certifications cited on our product documentation
Corrects an earlier assumption. No certification is claimed site-wide, but individual product pages do cite these. Each belongs to that product only and must not be presented as a company-wide claim. All need documentary confirmation from the client before launch.

Certification is per product rather than site-wide. The table on this page lists what each product's documentation states. Ask us for the destination market and we will request the current certificates from the factory.
