Under Vehicle Surveillance Systems

Automatic undercarriage imaging that scans a vehicle while it drives over, without stopping traffic.

Under Vehicle Surveillance Systems

What this category solves

  • Stopping every vehicle for a manual check blocks the approach road
  • Mirror inspection records nothing and depends on the operator's eye
  • Manpower costs rise directly with the number of vehicles inspected
  • A fixed installation needs civil works that may not be permitted
  • Concealed persons beneath a vehicle are easily missed

Who it is for

  • Permanent vehicle entry points at secure sites
  • Border crossings and customs posts
  • Temporary checkpoints that move between locations
  • Facilities integrating plate recognition with entry records

What the range gives you

  • Scanning during the vehicle's manoeuvre, at 1 to 65 km/h on the mobile system
  • Line-scan imaging at 2048 to 5000 x 2048 pixels
  • Image storage with retrieval, search and comparison against earlier scans of the same vehicle
  • A mobile 18 kg IP68 head bearing more than 30 tonnes, needing no civil works
  • Optional ALPR licence plate recognition and RFID with associative storage

Typical scenarios

  • Permanent gate screening at a secure facility
  • Temporary checkpoints with no time for installation
  • Multi-entrance sites managed from one system
  • Detecting threats, contraband and concealed persons under a vehicle
