A plate heat exchanger skid that heats, holds and cools liquid product continuously as it flows through to the next stage.
A plate unit does its work in a narrow gap between stacked plates, which is what makes it compact and efficient but also fussy about the product going through it. It suits thinner liquids that flow cleanly: milk, yogurt mix before culture, juice without heavy pulp. The plate pack is arranged in heating, holding and cooling sections, with a regeneration section recovering heat from the outgoing product. We specify the plate pack, the hold tube and the skid controls around your flow rate and the utilities on site.
