What The Customer Needed
The customer's final elements had to release completely. A conventional 3-15 psig transducer leaves residual pressure at the bottom of its range, which on a clamp or a brake means the device never fully lets go.
How It Was Built
The zero based build routes the transducer output through a bias relay, which both takes the output to zero and amplifies it, so the units regulate higher pressures than the standard range build as well.
What The Photographs Show
Because each zero based range has its own supply window, the supply was set for the ordered range before calibration rather than to a single site standard. The photographs show the batch with the supply manifold connected.
