Composting is a natural process that breaks down organic materials — kitchen scraps, yard waste, agricultural residues — into humus, a rich soil conditioner. Microorganisms do the decomposition under controlled conditions.
What a machine changes
An organic waste composter machine speeds the process up by providing ideal conditions for those microorganisms to thrive. Machines are available in different sizes and capacities, from small households and communities up to large farming operations.
Compost against chemical fertiliser
Compost supplies organic matter and structure as well as nutrients. It rebuilds the soil that repeated chemical application depletes, which is why it is treated as a soil amendment rather than a direct substitute for a nutrient dose.

Start from the waste you already produce and the throughput you need per day. TMK’s range runs from 50 kg to 5,000 kg a day, so the sizing question is usually settled by the heaviest 24 hours of a normal week.
