The problem
At municipal scale the machine is the easy part. Contamination in the feedstock, odour at the property line and what happens to the compost afterwards are what decide whether a facility keeps its licence.
TMK builds combined installations with a composting capacity of up to 30 tonnes per day: sorting belt, shredder, automatic separator, FOG separator, wastewater treatment and air deodorisation around the composting machines themselves.

Before you order
The automatic separator removes non-organic contamination with 95% accuracy. Without it, plastics and cutlery end up in your finished compost.
For facilities larger than 50 t/day TMK introduces anaerobic digestion alongside aerobic composting and collects the gas, feeding biogas back to the facility.
Deodorisation combines UV filters, activated charcoal filters and scrubbing towers. Retrofitting that around a finished building is always more expensive.
