ISO tank containers
Stainless-steel ISO tank containers built to international standards for intermodal movement of bulk liquids by road, rail and sea.
The problem
Moving chemicals, food-grade liquids or oils in drums means repeated decanting, residue losses and a packaging stream you then have to dispose of.
A tank container carries the liquid in one certified vessel from origin to destination across all three transport modes, with the valve, hose and instrumentation package specified to the cargo.
Before you order
TMK lists 10 ft and 20 ft frames with available capacities from 6,000 litres up to 22,000 litres. The cargo’s density decides which capacity band is usable.
Quick connectors are offered in SUS316, PCTFE and PTFE; ball and diaphragm valves are lined with PFA. Chemical compatibility is a specification decision, not an option.
The high-purity PTFE hose can be steam-cleaned and is rated −40 °C to 180 °C, which matters if you rotate the tank between different cargoes.
