Product and Specification
ArtChems is specialised in the production and sales of caustic soda flake, caustic soda pearls, caustic soda liquid and caustic soda solid.
99.0% NaOH minimum across pearls flakes and solid, with carbonate at 0.5% maximum. Flakes are held to 0.03% maximum chlorides and 0.005% maximum iron; pearls and solid to 0.05% maximum on both.
Industrial grade caustic soda is produced strictly in accordance with national standard GB 209-2006.
Geometry. Flakes dissolve faster and carry tighter iron and chloride limits; pearls flow better, dust less and meter more predictably. See our comparison guide.
Yes. Granulated caustic soda is another name for the pearl form of sodium hydroxide.
Section 2
Packaging and Labelling
Dry sealed packaging. The pearl standard is a 25 kg pack in two series of plastic with three layer construction. Flakes come in 25 kg bags or jumbo bags.
Yes. Customised packaging and labels are accepted. Send us the artwork and the bag size.
Product name, purity, net weight 25.0 kg, gross weight 25.1 kg, UN 1823 and the class 8 corrosive label.

Lead Time and Shipping
Flakes ship within 7 to 10 days after order confirmation. Pearls ship within 15 to 20 days after confirmation of the order.
By sea or by railway depending on availability to your destination. Give us the port or the inland delivery point and we will confirm the routing.
Our factory loads around 80 containers each month, so volume is rarely the constraint.
Yes. Solid sodium hydroxide is UN 1823 class 8 corrosive. Bags are marked and the dangerous goods documents travel with the shipment.

Quality Documents and Ordering
Yes. Export products are checked by quality inspection agencies such as SGS CIQ and INTERTEK. You nominate the agency and the inspection point.
The set depends on your destination. Tell us what your customs authority requires and we will confirm in writing what we issue before you place the order.
Most buyers order full container loads because that is the cheapest way to move a class 8 product. Send your volume and we will tell you what is workable.
Yes. Request a sample with the grade you are considering and we will confirm what we can send.
Caustic soda pricing moves with the market and with the pack the volume and the destination, so a published number would be wrong within days. Send those four details and you get a real figure.
