Artos Brush Wheel 205 x 145 mm
Brush wheel for Artos stenters at 205 x 145 mm. A stenter brush wheel presses the fabric selvedge down onto the pins as the cloth enters the rail. If the bristles are worn, too soft or the wrong grade for the fabric, the selvedge is not pushed fully onto the pins and the edge lets go inside the chamber. Artos rails use their own wheel size, so a Monforts or Bruckner wheel will not sit correctly on the shaft.

Fitting and Replacing This Part

Stop the machine and let the wheel cool before removing it
Step 2
Note the running direction before pulling the old wheel off the shaft

Fit the new wheel square to the shaft and check it runs without wobble

Turn the rail by hand for one pass and check bristle contact along the pin row
Step 5
Change wheels in complete sets so brush pressure is even across the machine
