Look for a lubrication system feeding the rail. If the rail runs dry with a graphite strip or PEEK sliders, it is oil free.
What is the difference in the chain?
The lubricated build is specified to run with a grease film at the bearing surfaces. The oil-free build is not.
Can I convert to oil free?
Yes, but it means changing the guide too. Ask us to quote the whole conversion.
