A nickel plated wire handle for buckets, pails and containers. It carries the full weight of whatever is in the bucket, is gripped by hand every time, and is often left outdoors, which puts real demands on a part that looks simple.
Handles are gripped constantly. Nickel resists the wear and dulling that a zinc plated handle shows within a season.
The turned ends are formed to the bucket's lugs so the handle cannot work its way out under load.
Handle wire is sized against the full weight of the container's contents, with margin for the swinging load of carrying it.
Check the bucket ears as well as the handle when investigating failures. A handle that pulls out is usually a lug problem rather than a wire problem.
