A wire form clip with two outward-facing spring sections, for furniture and industrial hardware where the clip grips from inside a housing and pushes outwards. It holds a panel or a component in place from within rather than clamping from outside.

Test retention using a production housing at both extremes of its tolerance. A clip set to a mid-tolerance bore may be loose at one end of the range.

Against an external bracket and screw, this clip is invisible in the finished furniture and fits in seconds, but it cannot be adjusted once installed.

Zinc is normally enough. Where the clip contacts timber, consider whether the finish could stain over time.
