Table lamps and desk lamps are the FF&E item a guest touches first and a QC inspector should touch last. Songdom sources them as custom products: the body material, finish, shade, switch position, cord length and outlet configuration are all built to the project drawing rather than picked from a catalogue. What Goes Wrong And How We Stop It
Finish drift between runs
A ceramic or stone-effect base is a production process, not a paint code. We approve a physical pre-production sample and verify colour and finish against it on every subsequent run.
Cord and switch errors
Cable length and switch position are measured on the line. A lamp whose cord cannot reach the specified outlet is a room that cannot open.
Listing gaps
For North American properties the listing route is fixed before tooling, not discovered at final inspection.
Defective bases reaching the carton
Cracked and chipped ceramic bases are pulled at in-process inspection. We photograph and log rejects so the factory corrects the cause.

Each lamp order passes the six-gate Songdom inspection process. On the Hotel Indigo lighting package this included dimensional inspection against the technical drawing, cable-length measurement, tilt testing of the finished assembly and a colour-finish verification against the approved sample before packing.
