Product Overview

This is the lightest of the concrete cover panels: a 30x2.5 bearing bar with an 8x2 flat cross bar, framed and fitted with hooks so the panel drops into a cast kerb and stays there. It suits chambers and channels that are crossed on foot or by hand trolley rather than by vehicles, which is most of the drainage inside a yard boundary and almost all of it inside a building. Because the hooks, the banding and the mesh are all galvanized together after fabrication, the parts that normally fail first on a cover, the welded hook and the cut edge, are protected with the rest of it.
