Our Solution
Two large steel balls, one ∅3.94 metre and one ∅2.75 metre, sit on each river bank. A resonator is integrated inside the spheres, connected by wire across the bridge.
Manufacturing Process
Both spheres were built to accept the resonator equipment internally while keeping the exterior mirror surface unbroken.
Supply Chain Coordination
The pair was produced together so the finish matched across the river.
Quality Control
Incoming material
Alloy and sheet thickness are checked against the order before any blank is cut.
Forming check
Diameter and wall are measured after pressing, spinning or water pressuring.
Weld and grind
The equator weld is inspected, then welds and burrs are ground off before finishing.
Surface inspection
Every piece is inspected for scratches, dents and polish consistency under light.
Packing
Protective packing is built around the diameter and weight, and photographs are sent before dispatch.
Final Result
The two spheres work as a connected pair across the water.
