Metal Balls
Hollow spheres from ∅6mm bearing-size balls up to ∅3500mm architectural orbs stamped water-pressured or spun in stainless steel carbon steel brass and aluminium.
Shenzhen Maoping Sculpture Arts is capable of producing metal balls to almost any size that meets your specification. Hollow steel balls from ∅6mm to ∅200mm (0.23" to 8") are available with a wall thickness from 0.6mm to 6mm. Large steel balls run from ∅200mm to ∅3500mm with 0.8mm to 16mm thickness.
Any size larger than ∅3500mm can be made as well. We manufacture the entire sphere then cut it into quarters or eighths so you can assemble the complete ball on site.

The largest sphere diameter that ships by conventional 20ft or 40ft container is ∅2200mm (∅71/3 feet). Larger sizes can be produced but need special shipping.
A 20ft or 40ft flat rack takes up to ∅3500mm (∅11½ ft) large steel balls with packaging.
Custom fabrication of virtually any size under ∅200mm (∅8 inch) is possible. A USD 1,000 stamping press mould fee applies to customised sizes under ∅250mm.
