A vertical outdoor silo for holding fresh milk in volume at a dairy plant, built as a three layer tank with insulation and a cooling jacket so the load stays at temperature between the reception bay and the processing line. Volumes run from 15000L to 120,000L and are customised, with the shell in SUS304 or SUS316L depending on the product and the cleaning chemistry. The same silo also holds other liquid food products where outdoor tank farm storage is wanted instead of indoor floor space.

SUS304 and SUS316L are both available. SUS316L is the usual choice where the product or the cleaning chemistry is more aggressive, and the grade is fixed in the order.
