Rubber covered fire hose is a maintenance-free covered fire hose used by municipal and industrial fire services. The nitrile rubber cover is what removes the wash-and-dry routine a jacketed hose needs, and it resists hydrolysis, UV, ozone, weathering, fungus and kinking. Sizes are 1.5 to 6 inch in 20 m and 30 m lengths, red or yellow. A Malaysian customer ordered 5000 m in 1.5 inch and 2.5 inch at 17 bar working pressure after comparing our sample against European hose.
