From raw board to a cured UV surface on a flat panel, with every stage sized so nothing waits on the stage before it.

Every Step And The Problem It Exists To Solve
Calibrate
Problem: Raw board thickness varies and a coater cannot correct it
A three head wide belt sander takes the panel to a set thickness at 4-20 m per minute
Dedust
Problem: Sanding dust left on the panel turns into nibs in the cured film
A brush and blow dust cleaner lifts dust out of the grain immediately before coating
Fill
Problem: Open pores and pinholes swallow primer and show through
A putty filling machine applies 10-30 g per square metre at constant pressure
Prime
Problem: Primer has to build evenly without wasting paint
A roller coater holds 5-10 g per square metre and recycles what does not transfer
Level
Problem: Bubbles and orange peel set into the film before cure
An IR heating leveller flows the film flat in a 6120 mm tunnel
Cure
Problem: Incomplete cure at line speed leaves the top coat soft
A UV dryer with the lamp count matched to line speed, each group separately cooled
Sand
Problem: Cured primer must be flattened without cutting through at the edges
An upper floating primer sander follows the panel surface
Top coat
Problem: Roller marks are unacceptable on a high gloss finish
A curtain coater lays a film to 0.05 mm with nothing touching the wet surface
