CE Covers the European Market

CE marking is the manufacturer's declaration that a product meets the applicable European health, safety and environmental requirements. For vehicle electronics this usually pulls in electromagnetic compatibility and, where there is a radio, the radio equipment requirements. Our product range holds a CE certificate.

FCC Covers the United States

FCC rules govern radio frequency emissions in the United States. Any product with a digital circuit emits, and dash recorders and head units with WiFi and Bluetooth emit intentionally. RoHS Is About What Is Inside

RoHS restricts hazardous substances such as lead, mercury and cadmium in electrical equipment. It is not a performance standard and it does not tell a buyer anything about quality, but it is a hard requirement for the European market and increasingly elsewhere. E-mark Is Specific to Vehicles

The E-mark is the vehicle specific approval used across UNECE member markets. It matters most where a product is fitted as part of the vehicle rather than sold as a loose accessory, and where a national inspection regime checks what is fitted. Our product range holds an E-mark certificate.

ISO9001 Is a Process Standard Not a Product Mark

ISO9001 describes how a factory manages quality, not what any individual product does. It is worth asking about because it tells you whether the supplier has a defined process for handling a fault report and a defined record of what was built. Ask for the Certificate That Matches Your Order

Certificates apply to specific products and specific test reports. Before shipping, ask for the certificate covering the exact model you have ordered rather than a general company document, and check the destination market's requirement rather than assuming one mark covers all of them.
