Knockdown Cabinets Cut To Your Drawing

Sayea builds knockdown engineered wood furniture: fitted bedroom wardrobes, modular shaker kitchen cabinets, living room TV cabinets, and the drawer slides and casters that go inside them. Every unit is made to the buyer's drawing rather than pulled from a fixed catalogue.

Cut To Drawing

Panels are sized to the opening you measure, not to a fixed carcase width, so alcoves and sloped ceilings are used instead of filled.

Four Panel Materials

Particle board, MDF, plywood and solid wood, chosen per component - an MDF shaker door on a plywood carcase is a normal request, not an exception.

Knockdown Flat Pack

Units ship as flat panels with the fittings, which protects faces in transit and puts far more furniture in the same container.

Matched Hardware

Drawer slides and casters come from the same order, so the slide length, the drawer depth and the caster load are agreed before production starts.

Where Cabinet Orders Actually Go Wrong

Cabinet buyers rarely lose money on the cabinet itself. They lose it on carcases that arrive damaged because they shipped assembled, on drawers that fail in the first year because the slide was an afterthought, and on a second order that does not match the first. Building knockdown, in engineered wood, with the hardware specified up front, removes all three.

Assembled Cabinets Arrive DamagedA fully built wardrobe is mostly air, and every corner is a place for a container to hurt it. Knockdown panels ship flat, protected face to face, and are assembled at the destination.
The Drawer Fails Before The Cabinet DoesSlides are usually the last line on a cabinet order and the first thing to be substituted. We quote the slide as part of the cabinet so the drawer weight and the slide rating are matched on paper.
The Second Order Does Not Match The FirstPanel colour, door profile and edge banding drift when a project is re-ordered from a general trader. Building to a retained drawing keeps a phase two apartment block matching phase one.
Standard Carcase Sizes Waste The RoomFixed-width cabinets leave filler strips and dead corners. Because cutting is done to order, an awkward alcove or a low ceiling becomes a full-height unit rather than a gap.

Material Selection

The carcase, the door and the shelving are specified separately from PB, MDF, plywood and solid wood, so the money goes where the loading and the visibility actually are.

Step 4

Sample

For a programme order a sample unit or door is produced against the agreed drawing so the finish is confirmed on the real material before the run starts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your cabinets made to order or supplied from stock?

Made to order. Panels are cut to the dimensions on your drawing, which is why the range is described by layout and published configuration rather than by a fixed size list.

Do you ship assembled or knockdown?

Knockdown. Panels are cut, edged and bored in the factory and assembled at the destination, which protects the faces in transit and reduces the shipping volume substantially.

What materials do you build in?

Particle board, MDF, plywood and solid wood. The material is normally specified per component rather than for the whole cabinet.

Can you quote from an architect drawing or a floor plan?

Yes, and it is the recommended route. A plan with elevations produces a quotation that includes the end panels and fillers a unit-by-unit list usually misses.

Do you supply drawer slides and casters as well as cabinets?

Yes. The 45 mm three fold silent slide and the PU wheel caster are produced here and can be quoted on the same order as the furniture, or bought on their own.

How do I start an enquiry?
