Wear Applications
Cemented carbide wear parts used in fluid handling, automotive, aerospace and medical industries, among others. If a steel part is wearing out too fast, this is the page.
Industry Pain Points
- Steel wear parts replaced so often that downtime costs more than the part.
- Dimensional drift changing the process rather than just wearing the part.
- Parts that must not disturb a magnetic field but still need to resist wear.
- Special shapes nobody wants to quote in small quantities.

What Buyers In This Sector Ask For
- A material that keeps its dimension under abrasion and corrosion.
- Small and large scale production from the same supplier.
- As sintered or precision ground, depending on the assembly.
- Non-magnetic options where the environment requires them.
Typical Application Scenarios
Fluid Handling
Liners, seats and nozzles in streams carrying solids.
Automotive
Wear-resistant components and tooling for forming and stamping.
Aerospace
Wear parts where dimensional stability matters more than weight.
Medical
Bio-medical rotary tool blanks, open tolerance ground long rods.
Forming Tools
Drawing dies, mould bodies, punch pins and stamping moulds in YG15 and YG20.
Non-Magnetic Service
YN6 and YN10 nickel bonded grades for wear parts that work in a non-magnetic environment.
How A Project Runs
From the first enquiry to the packed carton.
- Step 01
Enquiry And Grade Advice
Send the drawing or the failed part. We come back with a grade and preform recommendation, usually within 24 hours.
- Step 02
Sample Or First Article
A sample or first article is agreed before the main batch is pressed.
- Step 03
Production
Milling, forming, sintering under pressure and finishing on our own line in Chengdu.
- Step 04
Inspection And Despatch
Density, hardness and dimensions checked, then out by FedEx, DHL, TNT, UPS or air cargo.
Delivery Capability
- Quotes in 24 hours or less.
- Competitive lead times and blanket order options for repeat sizes.
- Annual production of more than 100 tons on a dedicated hard alloy line.
- Every order sinter-HIPped.
- Parts supplied as sintered or precision ground.
- Exported to Germany, the United States, Russia, Australia and other countries.
Frequently Asked Questions
What shapes can you make?
Extrusion solid rods, tubes, plates, latches and other special shape parts, as well as mining tools, snow plow inserts, shims, brazed tips, saw tips, plates, strips, blades, tyre pins and other made to order parts.
Do you take small quantities?
We manufacture small and large scale carbide products as per your drawing. Send the quantity you have in mind with the drawing.
Which grade for a drawing die?
YG15 is recommended for drawing dies, wear-resistant parts, stamping parts and mould cores.
What if the part has to be non-magnetic?
YN6 and YN10 are non-magnetic alloys for wear parts that work in a non-magnetic environment, and both have good corrosion resistance.
