From Powder To Finished Part
Everything happens on one site in Chengdu.

Powder Blending
WC and binder powders are wet milled in ball mills to the grain size the grade calls for.

Forming
Extrusion, two-way pressing or oil pressing, depending on the section and the length of the part.

Sintering
Vacuum sintering and pressure sintering furnaces. Every order is sinter-HIPped.

Finishing
Blank CNC machining, centreless grinding and cryogenic treatment to the drawing.

Our grade chart publishes the composition, hardness, transverse rupture strength, density and recommended application for every grade we press, from the ultra fine GW02U at 95 HRA through to the medium grain YG20 at 3600 MPa, plus the non-magnetic YN6 and YN10 nickel grades.
