A fleet is not a collection of retail sales. Fleets have different requirements: durability tuned for high duty cycles, specific warranty terms that survive commercial use, telemetry support, and often custom branding. Geely supports fleet-spec vehicles for large operators; we coordinate fleet orders through the Shanghai desk.
What fleet-grade actually means
Fleet-grade means specific hardening versus retail trims:
- Interior materials — vinyl or stain-resistant synthetic upholstery, rubber flooring, reinforced armrest/door-card plastics
- Suspension tuning — load-spec springs and dampers for high daily duty cycles
- Telematics — OEM telematics API, OBD-II passthrough for third-party dongles, CAN-bus data
- Warranty — commercial-use warranty with explicit mileage thresholds and duty cycles
- Service packages — bulk agreements with regional service networks, priority parts supply
Geely fleet-grade models
Our fleet-preferred Geely portfolio:
- Geely EX5 — ride-hail and rental volume leader. LHD/RHD available. Durable LFP battery with 1M-km cycle life rating. Developed for fleet duty from launch.
- Geely Emgrand — corporate sedan and ride-hail volume leader in Russia/CIS. Proven durability, very cost-effective per unit.
- Zeekr 007 — executive chauffeur and premium ride-hail. 900V fast charging cuts downtime. Premium positioning commands higher fares.
- Geely Starray EM-i — PHEV option for markets with thin charging. Eliminates range anxiety for long-shift drivers.
- Geely Coolray — ICE fleet option for markets where EV charging isn't yet practical.
Pricing at fleet volumes
Typical volume discounts relative to single-unit FOB:
| Order volume per model | Typical discount vs single-unit FOB |
|---|---|
| 10 units | 3-5% |
| 20 units | 5-8% |
| 50 units | 8-12% |
| 100 units | 12-15% |
| 250+ units | Negotiated — approaching factory-direct pricing |
Use cases
Ride-hail networks
EV economics for ride-hail: lower per-km energy cost than gasoline, less brake wear (regen), lower maintenance frequency. Typical deployment: 500–1000 units over 6–12 months of one model with optimal combination of daily range, charging speed, durable interior. Geely EX5 dominates this segment in emerging markets.
Rental fleets
Different priorities: variety across segments, sub-5-year replacement cycles, strong resale at decommissioning. Rental operators often want mixed fleet orders — 40 EX5s, 20 Emgrands, 10 Zeekr Xs — shipped together.
Corporate chauffeur / executive transport
Lower volumes (10-30 units), higher spec per vehicle. Zeekr 007 dominates this segment. Custom badging, specific interior trim, strict delivery-quality requirements.
Government / NGO procurement
Formal tenders, rigid documentation, specific local-content mandates. We support tender responses with manufacturer documentation, compliance statements, sample quotations in standard procurement formats.
How to start
Send an RFQ: target market, target volume, target model(s), deployment use case (ride-hail/rental/corporate), spec-specific requirements (livery, telematics, warranty). Response typically 2–3 Shanghai business days for fleet inquiries (requires factory coordination).
