Define what you are protecting
Surface marking, impact, vibration and abrasion are different failure modes and they need different paper formats.
We work back from the item, not from the machine list. Fruit and glazed ceramics need a wrap that does not scratch. Electronics need shock absorption. Gift boxes need a filler that presents.
Choose the paper format
Honeycomb wrap, paper bubble, fanfold, cushion pad or crinkle filler each solve part of the problem.
Finished paper products from every machine in the range are kept in the sample room so the choice is made on material in hand rather than on a photograph.
Prove it against your current packaging
A format that protects in theory still has to survive your own transit route.
Samples are produced on demo machines in the workshop and sent for your own drop and transit testing before any machine is quoted.
Match the machine to the volume
The same paper format is available at several levels of automation and cost.
Honeycomb comes in forming, automatic and fully automatic builds. Fanfold comes at 90, 150 and 200 m per minute. We size to the volume you actually run.
Set the finished format
Width, fold length, sleeve length and strand width are set at build time.
Tell us the dispenser, tray or carton format before the machine is built, because the folding module and slitting setup are chosen for it.
Install and support
A machine that arrives without support is a machine that runs at half speed.
A demo machine is kept in the workshop so installation and operator questions are shown over video rather than described in an email.

How do we know paper will protect as well as plastic?
Test it on your own transit route. Samples are produced on the demo machines and sent for your drop testing before a machine is quoted.
Do we have to replace everything at once?
No. Most operations start with the highest volume item on the packing bench, which is usually void fill, and add wrap and cushioning later.
Which paper format replaces plastic bubble film most directly?
Embossed paper bubble, because it is a roll that goes on the same dispenser position. Honeycomb wrap is the better choice where the item must not be scratched.
