The kraft paper cushion making machine, also called a cushion pad forming machine, takes kraft paper in roll and forms it into a cushioning pad. It can run a single layer or a two layer web rewound on our paper rewinding machine, and two layers give a noticeably stronger cushion. At 100 kg and 1250 x 1000 x 850 mm it sits at the packing bench rather than in the converting hall, feeding 760 mm wide paper at 25 metres per minute.
