The EM-PH800 was built to a customer requirement for die cut flame resistant kraft that could be stitched inline and rewound as filter material, while still running ordinary honeycomb packaging paper when the filter order book is quiet.

What makes flame resistant kraft different?
It is designed to withstand high temperatures and resist burning, which ordinary kraft does not, so it is used where fire safety is a concern in construction, packaging and electrical insulation.
Can the machine still make packaging paper?
Yes. Run without the pulling and cutting stage and it rewinds honeycomb or mesh kraft for packaging.
Why is the rewinding diameter larger for flame retardant paper?
Standard rewinding is zero to 300 mm. For flame retardant paper the machine is built to rewind up to 600 mm.
