Why buy the rewinder as well as the cushion machine?
Pressing quality depends on flat clean paper with no folds, wrinkles, holes or grit. The rewinder produces that and lays up the two layer web.
What paper weight does the cushion former run?
70 gsm to 80 gsm, as one or two ply.
How much stronger is two ply?
Two layer paper supplies a stronger cushion effect than one layer. The second layer is rewound on the EM-PR800.
How much space does the rewinder need?
8500 mm of length, plus operator access, at 1200 mm wide and 2000 mm high.
Is the finished cushion recyclable?
It is paper fibre, so it goes into the paper waste stream with the carton.
