PCB Drilling Machine Maintenance Guideline

This maintenance guideline covers the PCB board drilling machine as a CNC process centre. It also applies to the routing machine.

Daily Maintenance

Carried out before and after the machine runs each day. Ten items are checked and the machine is not released to production until each one is clear.

First Level Maintenance Weekly

Carried out by the night shift team with the teams on duty in turn. Duration is about one hour. Cut off the power supply first and then follow the steps.

Second Level Maintenance Monthly

Carried out by the day shift team with the teams on duty in turn and repair staff included. Cut off the power supply first then follow the steps and make the spare parts list. Duration is about one and a half hours.

Yes. The PCB board drilling machine maintenance schedule also applies to the routing machine.
Why run the spindle at low speed for ten minutes
It is part of the daily spindle and tool cassette check and is done with the machine in a clean condition before production.

Both the first level and second level schedules start by cutting off the power supply before any of the steps are carried out.
