Auto Pin Insert Function for PCB Routing Machines

The Problem With Manual Pinning
Pins are inserted by hand which adds labour to every panel and introduces a position error that the machine then has to work around.
What the Function Does
The routing machine inserts the pins automatically. It improves work efficiency and reduces the work intensity on the human operator.
Patent and Launch
The patent was granted in November 2019 and the machine was brought to the HKPCA show in 2019 where more customers became interested in the new function.
Adoption
Around 80 percent of routing machine orders now specify the auto pin insert function.
Specifying It
The function is specified with the routing machine build alongside table size depth control and tool cassette capacity.
