Project Challenge
Proving ground circuits are continuously curved and banked. Barrier on this kind of alignment cannot be assembled from straight sections without leaving chords, gaps and exposed leading edges on the inside of every curve.

- Continuously curved alignment that straight barrier sections cannot follow
- Banked surfaces where the barrier line changes height as well as direction
- Consistency of curvature required along the whole run, not section by section

Our Solution
Galvanized guardrail supplied for the circuit, including curved sections bent to the alignment. Curved radius guardrail is bent and formed on the automatic bending machine, which is what produces an accurate and repeatable radius across a run.
Manufacturing Process
Steel from Tang Steel is roll formed, punched, and where curved, bent on the automatic bending machine. Sections are hot-dip galvanized in the on-site galvanizing workshop with the passivation ratio controlled for corrosion resistance.
Result
Barrier installed on the proving ground circuit, visible in the project photographs on the banked curve sections.
